Say what you want against parlay betting, I’m for it! Many experts will discourage their clients not to bet on parlays, I’m the opposite. If you buy a lottery ticket, in my view you’re buying into the parlay strategy. Sportsbooks managers tell me all the time, 90% of players who wager with their sportsbook’s lose their entire deposit. If you want to take a shot at a 5 team parlay or an 8 teamer to try to get that one big kill, go for it! As long as you don’t do it every day and wager the farm. Here’s what I like to do, come NFL season, I like to make my 1 or 2 big wagers and then I like to go “parlay tripping” and pick my 8 to 10 teamer. Let’s face it; if you can hit an 8 to 10 teamer, you’re going to cash a nice ticket. Just live within your means and bet what you can afford to lose.
