Toronto Maple Leafs NHL Schedule

The Toronto Maple Leafs might not score many goals per game this season, but they sure in heck will beat the crap out of people! Brian Burke is living in the Vikings era, where he feels the best way to win a hockey game is to plant the fear bug in the opponent before a hockey game, as this is what the Romans use to do before they went to battle. Truth be told, I like Burke’s demeanor and his straight shooting ways, wish everybody was as honest and to the point as Burke.

They always say, the game is 80% mental and 20% physical, so if the Leafs can put fear in their opponents before the puck drops, they’ve won half the battle. I agree a bit of what Burke is doing, he’s building his team from the back end out, but when was the last time a Swedish goaltender made an impact in the NHL? Tommy Salo? I’m stumped after that!

Nevertheless, the Leafs will play hard, that’s not a problem I see, but I’m just wondering who’s going to be their 20 goal scorer?
