Bodog is the top seed when it comes to NCAA Tournament betting.
This year’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament appears to be one of the most wide-open tourneys in recent years – and that could be good news for those basketball bettors at Bodog. While the North Carolina Tar Heels were huge favorites going into last year’s Big Dance and came home with the title, the Heels aren’t likely to even get in the field this year.
It’s pretty much a lock that Kansas, Kentucky, Syracuse and Duke will be the four No. 1 seeds, but none of those four could be considered a lock Final Four team. Last year’s tournament was very chalk, as for the first time since seeding began, all 12 teams seeded No. 3 or better made it to the Sweet 16, and three No. 1 seeds reached the Elite Eight for the third straight year. There are probably about 20 or so teams that have a real shot at getting to Indianapolis for the Final Four this year, so it’s unlikely we see a repeat of the 2008 Final Four when all four No. 1 seeds made it for the first time.
Put your bracket expertise to good use and win big betting NCAA basketball at Bodog.
We certainly may see a repeat of the ’06 Final Four when little-known George Mason made it all the way to the national semifinals as a No. 11 seed. Could the loaded Big East get a record three teams in the Final Four again like it did in 1985? And maybe we’ll finally get that No. 16 over No. 1 first-round upset that the tournament has yet to ever see. Of course Bodog will have NCAA props available for all 65 teams in this year’s Big Dance. This could be the final year the field is at 65, with rumors of an expansion to 96 schools coming in 2011.
With buzzer beaters galore, Cinderella stories, office pools and even the playing of “One Shining Moment,” it’s easy to see why March Madness is the best three weeks in sports. And we’ll have it covered at every betting angle at Bodog.
