Jockey Calvin Borel had an incredible 2009 Triple Crown series. He won the Kentucky Derby aboard longshot Mine That Bird, then switched mounts and rode filly Rachel Alexandra to victory in the Preakness Stakes. He has a second Kentucky Derby title under his belt, too, having won in 2007 with Street Sense. This year, he will be aboard Todd Pletcher’s Super Saver, a horse he piloted straight to the winner’s circle in the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes in November. Will it be a third Kentucky Derby title for Borel?

Only 20 years old and already a decorated jockey, Joe Talamo will get his first crack at the Run for the Roses this year.
