The 2012 NFL Football season gets underway on Wednesday, September 5th 2012 and Sports Handicapper Ron Raymond of the Phoenix Sports Ticket is proud to present the first inaugural "World Series of Handicapping".

The World Series of Handicapping (WSOH-1) is a free NFL Football contest targeting NFL football fans who watches the game from a point spread point of view. Ron Raymond has been in the online handicapping business since 1996 and has created and developed over 25+ sites during his 16 year career including popular sites like ATS Database and ATS Calculator. Ron Raymond says; “The best sport for point spread players is football, because a football contest of this concept keeps their interest for an entire season. People who wager on sports and lose their shirt during the first 2 weeks, will have less incentive to follow the games each week”.

Joining the World Series of Handicapping will allow players to do their homework each week and not burn a hole in their wallet. In fact, the World Series of Handicapping is a free football contest which anybody can join and the format allows players to rank their picks from 1 unit to 7 units. If you’re new to sports betting, just replace units with the word “points”. Here’s how this contest works.

Players will make 7 football picks each week ranking them from 1 to 7 units. The player at the end of the year with the most amount of units won, wins the football contest. Therefore, you can have a pick percentage record of 50% and you can still win the contest, as long as your 6 and 7 unit picks are consistently winning.
