Ron Raymond’s CFL Football Week 12

Ron Raymond’s CFL Football Week 12
Could it be the Winnipeg Blue Bombers started the wrong QB this year? Steven Jyles has looked sharp every time he takes the field for Winnipeg and the Bombers defense should get tons of credit for keeping Saskatchewan off the board and limiting them to 2 points. Considering the CFL is a scoring league, keeping any CFL offense to under a field goal is a great achievement and it will be interesting to see how the Green Riders will rebound after such a lack luster performance this past Sunday. In fact, I believe the Roughriders got caught looking ahead to Calgary this weekend and let’s hope these point spread stats I’m going to share with you don’t support the Stampeders this weekend. If you wanted to know how a team did in the past as a Home Underdog after scoring 3 points or less? Since 1996, the home dog is 2-8 ATS and 1-9 SU.
Ron Raymond’s ATS Ratings Week 12
Calgary 10 10 10 9 7.5 10 10 10 9 10 95.5
Montreal 9 9 9 10 6 9 8 6 6.5 8.5 81

Ron Raymond's Free CFL Pick Week 12
- Calgary (-2.5) vs. Saskatchewan (55.0)
- Friday, September 17th 2010
- Game Time: 9:00 PM
Pick: Saskatchewan +2.5 (2*)
Keys to selection: The Calgary Stampeders are 9-1 SU on the season and could easily be 10-0 had it not been for the schedule. In fact, the only reason in my view they lost 27-24 vs. the Argos in Week 3, they were going on 4 days rest, as they played and won vs. the Tiger Cats on July 10 and playing 2 football games in a span of 4 days is a tough task for the human body to absorb, as fatigue plays a major role in the second game. The Stamps are off two easy games where they scored 88 points vs. the Eskimos and gave up 25 on defense in both games. However, they are up against a Roughriders team who got caught looking ahead to this weekend, as Saskatchewan lost 31-2 to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and getting the Green Riders as a home dog has been money in the bank the last few seasons. In fact, the Roughriders are 7-3 SU and 8-2-0 ATS as a Home Underdog in their last 10 in this role. The key to victory for Saskatchewan will be the rush defense and Wes Cates. As long as they can get Wes Cates running wild, they will win this game and hand the Stamps their second lost of the season! Bookmakers are trying to pull a fast one on us, but we will be ready!
Forecast: Saskatchewan 30 Calgary 28
Good luck in Week 12!
