Nice to see Tiger Woods back playing again this week, as high profile players such as Tiger, you just never know when he’s going to grace us with his presence in a tournament. Plus, people who enjoy wagering on golf, it’s always a nice treat to have the Tiger angle in a PGA tournament, as we get better value on quality golfers.
If you recalled last week in my Wyndham Golf Tournament write up, without Tiger in the field, there’s always somebody ready to step up and that’s why it’s smart to play longshot, as it makes for a nice pay day. Congratulations if you picked Ryan Moore to win the tournament last weekend, he paid out a whopping $6050 on a $100 bet.
Very nice field for the 2009 Barclays Golf tournament this weekend, as some of the top names are here this weekend, Lefty, Padraig, Vijay and many more of the top 25 are here for some of the $7 million dollar purse.
Furyk has been in 18 events this season, he’s made the cut for 16 of them and he’ been in the top ten in seven of the 18 tournaments. Jim Furyk is a great golfer and he’s due for his first win of the season. Play Furyk as my top play this weekend.
Ron Raymond bets with several Sportsbooks, but he’s inviting you to join Justbet Sportsbook this weekend, as Ron is good friends with the manager and has no problem recommending friends and family to Gary T.

Here’s another way to make a buck, instead of picking the silver bullet golfer to win this event this weekend, just bet on or against Tiger Woods! If you can’t beat him, join him as they say. If you think another golfer will beat Tiger this weekend, bet on it.
*How does this form of golf betting works? Wager $100 on Tiger to win $185 and wager $215 on the field to win $100.
