138th British Open Golf Odds

The Open Championship, otherwise known as the “British Open” will be played in the United Kingdom at Turnberry Golf Course located in South Ayrshire, Scotland is a golf-centered resort on the Atlantic Coast of Scotland. The Open Championship was established in 1860 and this years purse is £4,200,000 euros which is approximately $8.3 million US dollars.

Turnberry is a par 70 golf course and is 7,204 yards in length. The tournament record is -19 set by Tiger Woods in 2000 and the aggregate record after 4 rounds is 267, set by the Shark, Greg Norman in 1993.

The British Sportsbooks have already given the Open Champion trophy otherwise known as the “Claret Jug” to Tiger Woods, as bookmakers have made him a 2 to 1 odds on favorite to win.
