Super Saver Faces New Challenges in Preakness Stakes

Todd Pletcher’s Super Saver showed that he could handle the muddy terrain and the 1 ¼ mile distance of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. But jockey Calvin Borel will need to call on his mount’s versatility if they are to win the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Md., on Saturday, May 15, where speed will be of utmost importance.
