2011 Masters Golf Odds

The 2011 Masters Golf Tournament

You know spring has arrived when golfers and hackers start talking about the Masters Golf tournament. In fact, the offshore sportsbooks like Bookmaker Sportsbook have begun releasing golf odds payouts on who will win the 2011 Masters Golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia this spring.

As usual, the Vegas Sportsbook know they will get some Tiger Woods money, even though he’s not playing his best golf these days, and they’ve put him a +615 favorite over current champion Phil Mickelson (+650). If you wanted to wager on Tiger to win the Masters, a $100 wager will net you a payout of $615 dollars.

Betting on the Masters is a great way to make some money, because some of the current favorites are starting to see their game slip and look for a young newcomer like Anthony Kim or Dustin Johnson to make some noise.

Ron Raymond's 2010 Masters Golf Picks

Ron Raymond’s 2010 Masters Golf Predictions

Ron Raymond is one of Canada’s top sports handicappers and provides his daily picks each day on his sports betting blog. The US Masters is upon us and the whole world will be watching to see how Tiger Woods will perform this week at Augusta. The offshore sportsbooks have released their Masters odds and you can view the latest vegas odds below.

As for Tiger Woods, granted, nobody will ever questioned his golf game, but now his mental game will be challenged and it will be interesting to see how Tiger will execute knowing not every eyeball glazing upon him at the Augusta National Golf Club is a fan this time around. Furthermore, I believe much of his performance will depend on his first round golf pairings, if he’s with a few amateurs and a close friend, he should have no pressure. However, if he’s paired with veteran golfers of high moral values or have indicated religious beliefs in the past, could be a long day for Tiger!

Let’s face it, it’s easier to golf with friends and strangers, but when you know somebody in your grouping and you can’t see eye to eye, well……that’s going to play in the subconscious.

Ron Raymond’s Masters Golf Picks

  • Gold Prediction: Paul Casey +2550
  • Silver Prediction: Ian Poulter +3550
  • Bronze Prediction: Henrik Stenson +6050

How does Golf betting work?

Let’s say you have a $100 burning a hole in your pocket and you want to make your Masters Golf weekend a bit more interesting. Here’s a good way to invest that $100.

When betting on golf, I like to use the Gold, Silver and Bronze analogy and I rank my picks from Gold being my top golf pick of the weekend, Silver pick being my second top play and my Bronze selection is my longshot of the day!

Therefore, let’s split that $100 into 3 ways. Let’s put $40 on Casey, $30 on Poulter and $30 on Stenson.

  • If Casey wins, he pays out $1020
  • If Poulter wins, he pays out $1065
  • If Stenson wins, he pays out $1815

Now, here’s where it gets even more fun! Let’s say we have Casey, Poulter or Stenson in the running on Sunday, then the Sportsbooks will put out some matchups odds and then we can hedge our bets for guaranteed money! Make your golf bets with the top recommended sportsbooks on the net and wager on golf with Bookmaker Sportsbook.
