The Olympic break is finally over and the NHL is in full swing this evening with 12 NHL hockey games on tap. As much as I like to balance out my NHL underdog selections, teams are well rested and getting accurate injury reports and starting goalie information will be a task for the first few games. However, with the NHL trade deadline looming on Wednesday at 3pm EST, look for teams to start shaking things up.

Montreal PK +155 vs. Boston: Carey Price gets the nod this evening vs. the Bruins lifetime and the Habs are 6-3 on the road vs. Division teams this season. Plus, the Bruins are 1-9 SU in their last 10 home games.

Toronto PK -130 vs. Carolina: Canes didn’t want the Olympic break to happen just yet, they were 10-4 SU in their last 14 games prior to the break. However, there’s a new environment in Toronto and Giguere brings the Leafs more stability in nets.
