When you’re handicapping College Football games, if you have access to a betting tip sheet that displays teams returning starters, consider investing in this sheet. Most college players go to university for 3 to 5 years and when you have star athletes leaving school early to the NFL, it hurts the football program. However, if you have returning starters from big school programs like Texas and USC coming back year after year, they will get better as a unit and try to find teams who have 5 or more returning starters on offense or defense, when they are a Home Underdog or +7 points or more.

As much as we all have our favorite team and players, do not let your emotions control your train of thought. If you bet on a team because you like the QB or you grew up in that area, that’s a bad way of losing your shirt! Make sure you have reasoning or a theory behind all of your picks. However, if you're laying beer money type bets, then that's different!
