Allstate Brickyard 400 Predictions - Brickyard 400 odds - Allstate 400 Nascar

Allstate Brickyard 400 Predictions

  • July 24 -26, 2009 - Odds to win

It doesn’t get any bigger in NASCAR when you can say the words “Brickyard” and “Indianapolis” man that goes hand in hand like Apple Pie and Milk! OK, maybe that’s a reach, but if you’re a big NASCAR fan, you have to love the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard. In fact, did you know this race when it comes to purse money, is second only to the Daytona 500, maybe that’s why there’s a week off before this race, so teams can get their gears together! Furthermore, did you know when it comes to attendance; this race is the big daddy of them all, as they’ve drawn crowds of up to 250,000!

Allstate Brickyard 400 Fast Facts

  • Venue: Indianapolis Motor Speedway
  • Corporate sponsor: Allstate
  • First race: 1994
  • Distance: 400 miles (644 km)
  • Number of laps: 160

Did you know this about the Brickyard 400?

Why do they call it the Brickyard 400 back then? Because the track was paved in brick in 1909 and a three foot strip of brick still remains at the start/finish line.

Who will win the Brickyard 400?

  • Jimmie Johnson +500
  • Tony Stewart +600
  • Carl Edwards +800
  • Jeff Gordon +750
  • Kyle Busch +850
  • Mark Martin +850
  • Denny Hamlin +1200
  • Kurt Busch +1500

  • Greg Biffle +1800
  • Matt Kenseth +2200

  • Joey Logano +4000
  • Field +1800

Ron Raymond’s Allstate 400 Prediction (Nascar Pick)

When you look at the two biggest races on the schedule, the Daytona 500 and the Brickyard 500 are two of the biggest purse and with a week off to prepare, I’m going to lean towards our Daytona 500 winner, Matt Kenseth and the #17 car. Luck should have it, 17 is my favorite number! But that’s just a coincidence and it has no meaning on why I like Kenseth to win the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard race. Matt has 2 wins this season, and he has 4 Top 5 finishes at this track. Let’s back the Daytona 500 winner and we are getting great value on him at +2200. Wager $100 to win $200 on Matt Kenseth.

Here’s my Gold, Silver and Bronze pick

  • Gold: Matt Kenseth +2200
  • Silver: Jeff Gordon +750
  • Bronze: Jimmie Johnson +500

Brickyard 400 July 24 -26, 2009 - Qualifying Matchups

Looking for another angle to bet on the Brickyard 400 next weekend, then wager on the head to head matchups. Pick one of the drivers in the head to head matchups below and wager if you think that driver will beat the other driver.

Example: Ryan Newman is -120 to beat Kasey Kahne. You would wager $120 dollars to win $100 if you feel Newman will beat Kahne. If you like the #9 car and feel Kasey Kahne will beat Ryan Newman, then wager $105 dollars on Kahne to beat Newman.

Ryan Newman vs Kasey Kahne

  • Ryan Newman -120
  • Kasey Kahne -105

Jimmie Johnson vs Jeff Gordon

  • Jimmie Johnson -145
  • Jeff Gordon +120

Dale Earnhardt Jr vs Greg Biffle

  • Dale Earnhardt Jr -120
  • Greg Biffle -105

Kurt Busch vs Brian Vickers

  • Kurt Busch -105
  • Brian Vickers -120

Kyle Busch vs Tony Stewart

  • Kyle Busch -115
  • Tony Stewart -110

Kevin Harvick vs Jeff Burton

  • Kevin Harvick -125
  • Jeff Burton +100

Reed Sorrenson vs Michael Waltrip

  • Reed Sorrenson -175
  • Michael Waltrip +145

David Reutimann vs Marcos Ambrose

  • Marcos Ambrose +130
