The Buick Open will be the first of three Tiger Woods will be playing, as he’s confirmed his entry into the Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio next week.

As you can imagine, Tiger Woods is the favorite to win the 2009 Buick Open, the oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com has placed Woods as a heavy favorite at 6/4 odds. This means, for every $4 dollars wagered, you will earn $6. From a betting perspective, this is not an interesting proposition, as you are better off finding a golfer with better value who will have a better shot at winning on Sunday!

Granted, Tiger Woods is hungry and will no doubt want to regain his confidence after not making the cut at the British Open, but he’s not golfing well or to Tiger Woods standards.
